SETUP MD-01 software

Note:It ismost important that the version of the spidMD01dde.exe program used with

the MD-01 controller match the version of the firmware in the MD-01 controller. To

find out what version of firmware is in the MD-01 controller, press the F2 and F

buttons on the front of the MD-01 controller at the same time. The firmware version

and date will be seen on the MD-01 display.



The version of the spidMD01dde.exe program is shown on the upper left corner of the

screen.

Using USB Communications:

• #1 Connect the MD-01 through USB D port to PC with a USB Cable (Port: USB D)

• #2 Install USB drivers for PC (USB D Driver)

This USB driver will install a USB Serial Port (COM x)

You can check this in Windows/configuration/device management and search for COM

ports

• #3 Start program spidMD01dde.exe (this name may change)

• #4 Click on the down arrow at the bottom middle then click on the Options Tab.
